Holistic Nurse Consultation
The Holistic Nurse (HNB-BC), along with the holistic nursing principle, supports the whole-person with whole-systems healing. A Holistic Nurse recognizes that people cannot be separated from their environment, their relationships to family, and care providers. Moreover, the body’s natural inclination to heal must be honored as well as the healing properties of nature to create a restorative environment.

Hypnosis is a natural state of relaxed, focused attention. It is a powerful clinical tool, which like all skills, must be practiced to receive the ultimate benefits. We all go in and out of trance many times during the day without even being aware of it. Everybody experiences moments of daydreaming or times when we might drive to a location and then wonder how we got there. These moments are indicative of a change in brainwaves that leads to trance. Our subconscious mind takes over and our conscious mind has no recollection of this drift in our awareness.
What Hypnosis is NOT:
- A mysterious state where you do not know or remember what takes place
- Sleep or mind control
What Hypnosis CAN offer:
- Relax and manage stress
- Support pain management
- Stop Smoking
- Prepare for surgery and procedures
- Enhance sleep
- Allow for inner wisdom
What we eat has a direct impact on our physical and emotional health. Unfortunately, there is a lot of misinformation available these days from many sources. Some of the information on the Internet is there to sell products; some is just personal advice that lacks scientific foundation.
If you have questions about your food choices and habits, and how you can feel better and be healthier, you might like to work with someone who has sound scientific training in nutrition. Once you are armed with information, you can make choices from a position of being aware and mindful, and can both enjoy food and choose foods to meet your health and personal goals.
