Consultant to Active Adult through Memory Care

Debbie works with communities in senior centers, active adult and as well as memory care to teach several modalities which ‘put the patient in the best possible condition, so that nature can act and healing can occur’; to quote Florence Nightingale (Notes on Nursing). These principles are foundational to her presentations and programming, while informing audiences with both traditional and emerging therapeutic interventions and resources.

Much of Debbie’s work has been with professional and family caregivers, including care partners for persons living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Training can be conducted with community staff to address communication skills and also how to support their personal well-being while caring for others.

Debbie also offers one-on-one consulting for family care partners to help them manage the stress of caregiving and find solutions that support their self-care.
